About Us Volunteer

Volunteers are a critical part of the education effort at Money Management International (MMI). In order to spread the word about effective money and credit management, MMI trains community members and social service providers to teach financial literacy programs. This outreach program is called the Certified Money Management Volunteer Program. Since 2002, more than 800 volunteers have been trained to teach classes on the topics of Understanding Money and Credit, Understanding Your Credit Report, and When Income Decreases, But the Bills Don't.

Volunteers are supported by education regional directors in each the 26 states where we have education offices. Support includes training, workshop, and presentation materials. Volunteers are encouraged to teach at least six classes every year so that they maintain their proficiency.

The Certified Money Management Volunteer Program is a way that you can help people in your community. Join volunteers across the United States who say "You Can Count on Me."   Register now to become a volunteer.
